Youβve been told that authentic Chicago Deep Dish requires a culinary degree and a $2,000 oven. Total myth. At Urban Slicer, we believe Pizza is for Everyone. Weβve engineered our Epic Deep Dish Mix to give you that iconic "biscuit-style" crunch and buttery chew right in your home kitchen. Weβre talking massive flavor, zero stress, and "leopard spotting" thatβll make your neighbors jealous.
This recipe features a "Double Bake" technique to ensure your crust is never soggyβjust pure, golden-brown glory.

Epic Deep Dish Dough
Pizza Sauce
White Pizza Mojo
Red Pizza Mojo
Spicy Cupping Pepperoni
Ricotta
Fresh Parm
Fresh Basil
Hot Honey
1. Prep the Dough-Head Way
Mix your Urban Slicer Epic Deep Dish dough according to the package instructions. Let it rise until itβs doubled in size. Heavily oil a 12-inch deep-dish pan or cast-iron skillet. Press the dough into the bottom and up the sides. Let it rest in the pan for 15-20 minutes.
2. The First Bake (Meat and Heat)
Preheat your home oven to 425Β°F.
Load your dough with the fresh sausage (pinch off small chunks) and a generous layer of our Spicy Cupping Pepperoni. Bake this "meat-and-dough" combo for about 8-10 minutes. This renders the fat from the meats into the crustβhello, flavor!
3. The Second Bake (The Cheese Blanket)
Remove the pan and blanket the meat and crust with that Whole Milk Mozzarella. Slide it back into the oven for another 8-10 minutes until the cheese is bubbling and the crust is a deep, gorgeous golden brown.
4. The Grand Finale (The Reveal)
While the pizza bakes, heat your pizza sauce on the stove. Once the pizza is out:
Cut the pizza into 4, 6 or 8 sections.
Ladle the warm sauce over the melted cheese.
Dust it heavily with White and Red Pizza Mojo.
Scatter the fresh basil and a mountain of grated Parm.
The Pro Move: Add big, cool dollops of fresh ricotta on top for that incredible temperature contrast, then drizzle our Hot Honey for the ultimate finish.
