The Urban Slicer Oktoberfest
Introducing, the Urban Slicer Octoberfest - perfect for our Grilling Dough!
Super simple, yet amazingly delicious:
From the bottom up:
- Urban Slicer Outdoor Grilling Dough
- Beer Cheese Sauce (store bought, or you can make your own)
- Sauerkraut
- Potato Gnocchi
- Shredded Whole Milk MozzarellaΒ
- Pre-cooked and sliced Beer Brats
- Shredded Swiss Cheese
- Roasted Red Peppers
Grill one side of the dough, or pre-bake in an oven at 450F for 3-6 minutes, until it starts to brown. Β Flip and top in order listed above. Β Grill or bake again for another 6-10 minutes until done to your liking. If you are cooking in an oven, don't be afraid to use a stone and cook this longer than you might normally. Β It can be super crispy and delicious, when just slightly over cooked. Β All to your taste buds, of course!
Beer Cheese Sauce Suggestion: I purchased some Velveeta Cheese sauce (link) and then slowly heated it over low heat on the stove until warm. I added beer, a little bit at a time, until tasted as I would like and also added some ground black pepper and cayenne pepper, to give it some kick. I then simmered it on very low heat until it was nicely thickened again. Β
