How to Make Spinach Dip Deep Dish Pizza
-
Prepare the Dough
Follow the instructions on the Urban Slicer package. You can mix the dough by hand, in a mixer, or even use a bread maker like we did in the video below. -
Shape the Dough
Once the dough has risen, stretch it into a greased pan. Let it rise again for 1-2 hours until it doubles in size. -
Partially Bake the Crust
Bake the dough in a 500°F oven for 6-7 minutes, or until the bottom is firm and crispy. -
Cool and Slice the Crust
Remove the partially baked crust from the pan and place it on a wire rack. Let it cool for 5-10 minutes. Using a bread knife, slice the crust horizontally, just like in the video. -
Layer and Top
- Place the bottom half of the crust back in the pan.
- Add a layer of spinach dip, fresh spinach, and a sprinkle of White Pizza Mojo.
- Top with shredded mozzarella.
- Place the other half of the dough on top and finish with another layer of cheese.
-
Final Bake
Return the pizza to the 500°F oven and bake for another 7-8 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is perfectly melted. -
