Main Course
Crispy outside, cheesy inside, full buffalo flavor. Buffalo chicken calzone with bold heat and melty cheese folded into baked Urban Slicer pizza dough.

1 bag Urban Slicer Pizza Dough Mix (Outdoor Grilling or Neapolitan)
Water (per package instructions)
1 tbsp olive oil (optional, for brushing)
1½ cups cooked chicken (grilled, baked, or rotisserie), chopped
⅓ cup buffalo sauce (adjust to heat preference)
1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
½ cup shredded provolone or Monterey Jack (optional)
2 tbsp cream cheese or ranch dressing (optional, for extra creaminess)
Red onion slices
Jalapeños
Blue cheese crumbles
Chopped green onions
Mix Urban Slicer Pizza Dough according to package directions. Allow dough to rest and rise as instructed. Once ready, divide dough into portions and shape into a 10–12 inch round.
Pro Tip: Seasoning the chicken with White Pizza Mojo adds garlic, herb, and savory depth that balances the heat.
On one half of the dough round:
Add a layer of shredded cheese
Spoon buffalo chicken mixture on top
Add optional toppings
Finish with another light layer of cheese
Fold dough over filling to create a half-moon shape. Pinch and crimp edges tightly to seal.
Oven Method: Preheat oven to 375°F
Place calzone on a parchment-lined baking sheet or pizza stone
Brush top lightly with olive oil (optional)
Cut 2–3 small vent slits on top
Pizza Oven Method:
Bake at 650–700°F rotating frequently
Cook until dough is crisp and evenly browned (about 4–6 minutes)
Allow calzone to rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing. Serve with ranch or blue cheese dressing for dipping.
