Instructions
Step 1: Prepare Dough
Mix Urban Slicer Pizza Dough according to package directions. Allow dough to rest and rise as instructed. Once ready, divide dough into portions and shape into a 10–12 inch round.
Step 2: Prepare Buffalo Chicken
In a bowl, combine chopped chicken, buffalo sauce, and Urban Slicer White Pizza Mojo. Mix until evenly coated.
Pro Tip: Seasoning the chicken with White Pizza Mojo adds garlic, herb, and savory depth that balances the heat.
Step 3: Build Your Calzone
On one half of the dough round:
Add a layer of shredded cheese
Spoon buffalo chicken mixture on top
Add optional toppings
Finish with another light layer of cheese
Fold dough over filling to create a half-moon shape. Pinch and crimp edges tightly to seal.
Step 4: Bake
Oven Method:
Preheat oven to 375°F
Place calzone on a parchment-lined baking sheet or pizza stone
Brush top lightly with olive oil (optional)
Cut 2–3 small vent slits on top
Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown
Pizza Oven Method:
Bake at 650–700°F rotating frequently
Cook until dough is crisp and evenly browned (about 4–6 minutes)
Step 5: Rest & Serve
Allow calzone to rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing. Serve with ranch or blue cheese dressing for dipping.
Why This Works
Urban Slicer dough is engineered to handle high-moisture fillings like buffalo chicken without getting soggy — giving you crisp structure on the outside and a soft, chewy interior.
One dough mix. Endless possibilities.
Pro Tips
Don’t overfill — leave a 1-inch border for sealing
Vent slits prevent steam blowouts
For extra crunch, finish with a light sprinkle of White Pizza Mojo on the crust edge
Want it spicier? Add crushed red pepper or hot honey drizzle after baking
